As the startled soldiers hit the ground and try to get cover, he darted out of the gate and into the hot desert. It would take a while until the soldiers followed him, but nonetheless he kept running. He had to get out of their firing range quickly. His heavy boots and the black uniform made Elliot sweat a lot in the mid-day sun, still he forced himself to keep running to the west. The Art of Pain Part 10Elliot dashed out of the elevator, then through the dim corridor towards the exit door. As he stepped into the bright sunlight, he could not see anything for a moment. Nonetheless he began to run through the district, dodging the few patrols wandering through the dirty alleys. While he was hiding behind a couple of wooden barrels from a group of soldiers, he realized how thirsty he was. ‘Well, they’re treating me like a criminal…‘ he thought to himself, stealing a bottle of water. The Art of Pain Part 9 "Captain Decker," The judge continued, "find out how this terrorist could get out of our safest detention facility without being seen. Start by inspecting the cell he was interrogated in. Dismissed." Decker's men escorted Elliot back to the elevator and back to his section. On the way he could not think calmly because of the shock. But now that they walked through the corridors he had seen so often, he began thinking about how he could get out of this misery. The four men kept watching him from all sides, so there was no way of running away. If Elliot was to escape from this place, then it would be by fighting. He had already killed people, but he had never been unarmed and outnumbered. Waiting for an opportunity he entered the interrogation cell with them, where Captain Decker began to speak. “Let’s find out, how this terrorist could get out of here.
